Since his debut in 2003, Jonathan Morali has built a unique musical universe through warm, soulful vocals and timeless melodies. Across four acclaimed albums, songs such as "Obstacles", "To All of You" and "I Might Float" have resonated with an entire generation, amassing nearly 200 million streams and 100,000 physical sales.

Renowned for intense and immersive live performances, Syd Matters has toured extensively across France, Europe, the United States and Latin America, culminating in a show at Paris’ Olympia in 2011.

Between 2015 and 2019, Jonathan Morali composed the soundtrack for the globally successful video games Life Is Strange and Life Is Strange 2, introducing Syd Matters to a whole new audience.

After a long absence, Syd Matters returns with a fifth album, to be released in September 2026 on Creature Record, followed by a European tour and a return to the legendary Olympia with new songs—and others we know by heart.
