Horse Lords

Founded in Baltimore in 2010, Horse Lords emerged from the city's fertile noise and experimental rock scene. Across six albums, various collaborations and as a celebrated live act, the quartet has developed an approach more omnivorous than the stippled rhythms of instrumental electric rock would indicate. Their new album, Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive!, released on June 12, 2026 via RVNG Intl., sees the band augmented by bass clarinetist Madison Greenstone, trombonist Weston Olencki, and, in a first for Horse Lords, vocals courtesy of Nina Guo and Evelyn Saylor, across twelve layered, interwoven, tonally and rhythmically complex compositions.
