David Caspar’s EP ‘Echo In The Fields’ centres on the passing of time as a companion in life and the duality of its nature. Finite as a reverberation of sound, time will catch up to good and bad alike with the gift of true meaning. This EP will be released on November 24th on Two Gentlemen.
“Time Is a Thief” is an introduction to the theme, a story of walking on glass and surrendering to the inevitability of losing everything you love in time. “Deep Blue Sky” and “You Fade Away” draw an arc between a sense of meaning, found in love and lost to sorrow. “Berlin” is a bitter melody of a distant past, whilst instrumental “One More Day” welcomes the prospects of every rising sun.
